For my development, I have decided to carry on photographing my sister with autism. I want to show her routines, and that what is the norm for her is is probably quite strange for somebody else. For example, after school, Poppy has to pace around for hours, or sometimes she will put her toys into very neat, straight lines. At school she uses the sensory room a lot. A sensory room is a dark rom full of colourful lights, shiny objects, foamy chairs, toys, things that make noise, and calming music. They are designed for people with autism, learning difficulties, etc, to help them calm down.
